Designing practical changes that could be implemented into existing services to reduce inequity for Māori.

Kōrero was captured verbatim, priority work sheets were collected. Thematic Analysis and excel worksheets were used.
Recommendations from Ngā Pou Matua
That the feasibility of a Community Hub(s) concept or hub-centric idea is underpinned by a te Ao Māori worldview and which supports the identified themes of:
Increased engagement with whānau.
Improved connections, information sharing and knowledge.
Increased lived experience/peer workforce
Iwi Communication Strategy to be further explored, communicated and advanced for implementation.
Ratified actions from Ngā Pou Matua
Te Ohu, Te Whatu Ora Lakes and Ministry of Health have engaged GHA Chartered Accountants and Management Consultants to construct a feasibility plan by the end of May 2022 followed closely by a business plan.
Iwi Communication Strategy has been designed for implementation including a Pou Hononga to coordinate the comms and communication mediums.
